Moroso Fjord

Description

Fjord armchair by Moroso was designed by Patricia Urquiola starting from a fragment of a shell broken and smoothed by the waves.

The name evokes the Scandinavian influence and it is visible in the elongated cut of the seat, a metaphor for the coves of the northern coasts.

The broken shape is transformed into a design object: gentle lines that support and welcome, highlighted by the accuracy of the visible stitching in continuous harmony with the essentiality of the structure.

The proposed Fjord version is upholstered in Cirè leather.
